1. Do Solar Panels require batteries to work? When we think of solar panels, an off-grid photovoltaic system immediately comes to mind that, not being connected to the C.F.E. network, it needs batteries to store the energy it produces during the day and be able to use it at night. However, the most common solar systems are those of "Interconnection with CFE", in which the solar panels are connected to the electrical network, constantly injecting energy during the day that will be reflected in a discount on your provider's bill, keeping the advantage of consuming from the network when the modules do not generate energy.

2. How do solar panels work?A solar system starts when photovoltaic cells or solar panels receive radiation from the sun and produce direct current (1), which is not compatible for use in the home or business until it passes through an inverter (2), that transforms direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC) ready for our use. Being a system connected to the electrical network, the panels generate energy that passes through a bidirectional meter (3) and this calculates, in the end, the difference between the energy that you did not use and that was sent to the network in which you used it. The following image illustrates the process of a solar system:

3.How long is the life time of solar panels?Fortunately, technology has brought important advances to our homes, solar panels have not been the exception, now becoming more resistant to different weather conditions and achieving greater efficiency in receiving solar radiation. At XUSOL we are confident in our Risen photovoltaic modules that have a useful life of 30 years or more with constant maintenance; that will allow you to obtain benefits in the short and long term. It is definitely a technology built to withstand the passing of the years and continue to produce solar energy, due to its conductive components such as silicon and cadmium.

4. How much do solar panels cost? There are many rumors that are heard about the price of solar energy, one of them is that it is a highly expensive alternative, exclusive for companies or industry; however, it is becoming more accessible thanks to financing plans, short-term and long-term savings. To know the total price of a system investment, the ideal is to know the energy needs of your home or business, which can be found in the history of your receipt, and based on that, quote the installation.< /p> At Xusol Energía Solar we have installed systems, with their panels, anodized aluminum structure, micro-inverter or inverter with a live monitoring system of the production of their panels (as the case may be), piping, wiring and procedures before C.F.E. with a cost from $2,150 dollars. Contact an advisor to recommend a system that suits you and offers you all the payment options.

5. Why do they ask me for the light bill to quote panels?Because we design a system tailored to your energy needs for your home, business or industry and we know the size of the solar panel system you need to install to generate all your energy, we base ourselves on the historical consumption (Kwh) of your light receipt. Collecting this information, we calculate your average historical monthly consumption to offer you a personalized energy proposal.

6. If I install a panel system in my home, will I no longer pay C.F.E.?"It depends. If it is an isolated or autonomous system, we are talking about becoming independent from any electricity supplier; however, in the case of an interconnection with CFE, it would work in conjunction with the network, injecting energy and at the same time consuming it, so there will be a percentage, albeit minimal, for distribution, storage, taxes, among others, to be paid to CFE

7. Do solar panels work on cloudy days?Solar modules work by solar radiation and not by heat, thanks to the monocrystalline silicon cells with which they are manufactured to later convert it into alternative energy that we use in our homes; however, on a cloudy day the radiation is quite diffuse, on the other hand, on a sunny day the radiation received is direct, affecting energy production. These meteorological contingencies are taken into account when calculating the number of panels, so even on gray days they can produce between 10% and 25% of their total capacity, depending on factors such as the density of the clouds, time of day and the quality of the solar module. Remember that even on the cloudiest of days light passes through clouds and rain; phenomenon that we can see when we have skin burns on sunny days; therefore, we can conclude that there is solar energy 365 days a year. Fortunately, we have solar technology on our side, the Goodwee inverters we use are smart, they come equipped with a monitoring system to detect anomalies in the system and check their solar energy production in kWh on a daily basis. We share screenshots of the monitoring system for the generation of a system of 6 solar panels installed in Playas de Tijuana. Graphic of the monitoring system on a sunny day of a facility in Playas de Tijuana, B.C. Graphic of the monitoring system on a rainy day of a facility in Playas de Tijuana, B.C.

8. Why is solar energy not common in Mexico?Mexico has a great advantage over other countries in terms of energy: its solar radiation, greater than 5.66 KW / m2. In that sense, it is a geographically privileged country. So why isn't Mexico taking advantage of this geographical feature to generate its own renewable energy and be an example of sustainability? There are multiple factors involved when investing in solar energy; Among them is the lack of knowledge on the subject, a lot of confusion on the subject and myths about photovoltaic systems; In addition, if we are going to compare ourselves with the largest producer of solar energy, Germany, we can conclude that there is also an economic context that determines us when investing in renewable energy generators, since it is an important investment amount for families. . with little purchasing power or companies that do not have long-term economic stability.

9. .-Do I have to pay monthly to my solar energy provider in addition to my C.F.E. receipts? There are solar energy companies that offer "photovoltaic system rental" services; However, it does not seem convenient, since you would be paying the C.F.E. Bi-monthly or monthly receipts in addition to the rental of the solar panels, instead of keeping them as an asset in the home or business. Our energy proposal is to offer you a solar energy generator, with all possible payment facilities so that from today to 30 years or more, you can produce the energy you consume and that you previously paid to C.F.E. Backed by our warranty and engineering team and advisors. In this way, it would protect itself against arbitrary increases in its electrical supply; You would be an example of sustainability by enjoying a pollutant-free generator and you would obtain wealth for your family without having to rent.

10. Who are the panels intended for? Who can install solar panels? For anyone who wants to transition to renewable energy, no matter how much you pay for electricity. Most people who think about renewable energy imagine that only large industries benefit from this natural source of energy, but this is not the case. Anyone can generate electricity through a solar system for their home, camp, business or industry and enjoy the benefits of this technology. The sun's rays are there to take advantage of! The most benefited from this solar technology are people with a DAC rate in their homes and who pay $2,000 pesos or more every two months, as well as small and medium-sized companies and industries that want to reduce their operating costs, such as electricity service, by 95%.

12. What guarantees does a solar panel system have?Something you should pay attention to before buying a photovoltaic system, in addition to the quality of the equipment, is the guarantee of each of the equipment. Regardless of whether you will be installing panels in your home or business, this technology is designed to have a minimum useful life of 25 years, therefore the equipment must be guaranteed in writing for at least 10 years. At XUSOL Energía Solar we have the philosophy of being transparent in our guarantees and granting them in writing in the technical data sheets of the equipment and in our purchase-sale contract, in which you will find the following guarantees: -1 year warranty on the installation service. -5 years at Goodwe Central Investor -10 years on our APS microinverters for any defect -12 years for manufacturing defects in our monocrystalline solar panels -25 years warranty on linear production of solar panels. What does that mean? They guarantee us that the photovoltaic cells will work efficiently, at 80% -100%, during the next 25 years of their use.

13. What happens after the 25-year guarantee?Photovoltaic cells are made up of silicon plates and other metals that, when in contact with solar radiation, generate direct current (DC) to pass through an inverter or microinverter that will convert it into alternating current (AC) compatible in our homes . ; therefore, as it is a passive and non-mechanical process, the solar panel manufacturer guarantees that its energy production efficiency will be 25 years, but with ideal maintenance it is estimated at 30 years or more. Unlike other technologies with planned obsolescence, for example: cell phones, tablets, among others, which are designed to last a certain amount of time regardless of the care taken so that said equipment stops working; solar panels do not "break". So what happens after 25 years? The silicone plate and other components wear out due to environmental exposure and will not generate the same percentage of power as previously; Remember though that you have a complete PV system installed in your home and not just panels up there, so since solar cells are another component of the PV system they can easily be replaced in the future or better yet they can add more panels to your system to compensate for the loss without removing anything.

14. After installing my panels, do I have to pay C.F.E for extra taxes? No, you would only pay the same taxes you paid before. Concepts such as VAT, D.A.P., minimum distribution concept, etc. In Mexico there are no "sun taxes" or additional charges for using this photovoltaic technology in your home or business. Take advantage of solar energy in your favor. Generating your own clean and renewable energy is your right. Go solar!

15. What are the requirements to install panels in Mexico? For the installation of an interconnected photovoltaic system (PV)connected to the C.F.E. is required: 1.-Have an electricity service contract with C.F.E., that is, have a meter. 2.-Pay $1,000 pesos or more for electricity on your bills and you are interested in saving up to 95% on your payments or simply want to generate your own energy consumption through renewable sources. 3.- Have enough space to install your panels. Don't worry! It is not necessary to go up to the roof to measure the available area. When quoting with us, one of the engineers is responsible for checking the available space in the technical visit prior to installation. There they also check the voltage in the home or business, the meter, among other technical aspects. 4.- Quote with us to receive the best energy proposal in the region. Contact us by this means, at (664) 526 61 85 or by email: imontoya@xusol.mx, We do not sell a product, we offer a step-by-step service to ensure that you generate the same as you consume with solar panels and save as much as possible.

16. Do solar modules require maintenance?Like all technology, the panels also require maintenance so that they can have a useful life of up to 30 years. Preventive and corrective maintenance is recommended every 3 months in the city and preferably monthly service in the outskirts where there is a lot of loose soil in the surroundings. In addition to verifying the integrity of the wiring, structure, inverter and all system components, the supplier must clean each photovoltaic cell, removing all excess dust, animal waste or any object that interferes with the reception of solar radiation, to ensure panel efficiency. The accumulation of dust, dirt or any object that obscures the photovoltaic system can cause a loss of productive efficiency of up to 70%.
